Bob: Check out sections 11 and 12 of the GPL under the heading "NO WARRANTY". The GPL already does what you want-- it just happens to be written in lawyer-speak, so it is easy to miss :) We are not responsible for any dataloss, nor are we obligated to provide any support. That goes for official builds too, not just WIP builds. Naturally I personally am glad to help people with problems, and naturally I will do everything in my power to avoid dataloss, but I do it cause I want to, not because I have to, and the GPL will back me up on that.
