The Mad Cacti: Are we still going to support string lookup codes in the future? Seems kind of redundant. I'm starting to think that string lookup codes would not add much dynamicity, however it would probably be the most natural thing?

Bob the Hamster: I don't forsee any obvious problems with sticking with named numeric codes. The stuff in slicelookup.txt will get exported to the hsi file. However, if we add support for using lookup strings in the future, I think that will still be okay from a backcomap perspective. We can just make slices lookupable by an either an int or a string without needing two different plotscripting interfaces.

Bob the Hamster: Also, note that I designed this file format to be a really generic one for serializing any arbitrary array of strings. That is why it supports special chars and long lines which are not actually needed for this file.
