My enemies never move or attack, why?

The most likely cause of this symptom is that you forgot to give your enemies Speed. Enemies with a Speed of 0 will never move. A very slow enemy should seldom have less than about 5 or 6 speed, and a very fast enemy seldom needs more than 20

Also make sure that you have given your enemy attacks.

If the enemy speed is (much) higher that yours you will be attacked several times during one turn, whereas you will able to attack him only once.
