How are weapon pictures used?

If you have looked at the attack editor, you will find no mention of weapon pictures. If you have looked at the hero editor, you will see no mention of weapon pictures. Why is that? Where are the weapon pictures?

Any attack using certain attacker animation types will use a weapon picture, but the weapon picture is determined by the weapon item that the hero currently has equipped, not by any attack data.

To choose weapon pictures, go into the item editor, and turn an item into a weapon. Now you will be able to choose which weapon picture the hero will use whenever that item is equipped.
