A remake of the original Walthros, featuring much more balanced gameplay, a less cliched story, and a darker, though at the same time funnier, atmosphere. A decent length demo will be uploaded some time this year, and hopefully the full version won't be far behind.
-Changes from the original game to R-
-Changing armor now changes your character's walkabout and battle graphics.
-A larger story involving several interested parties fighting over the crystals rather than Bob and company strolling around collecting them without much trouble.
-Less Rodentia.
-Super Walrus Man: More like his W:ROTC counterpart than his original version.
-Different magic system.
-No random encounters (except for possibly on the world map. Haven't decided that yet.)
-Custom menu system.
-No "levels." Stats are modified entirely by equipment and skill capsules.
-Fast paced battles with slightly more skill involved than my previous games.
-More animated cutscenes.
-"Memory Chips;" Items you find that allow you to playthrough entire sidestories as other characters in other parts of time and space.
-Slightly higher volume of ultra-violence. |
