Forgiving the fact that you can't complete the level or use any pipes, ignoring the fact that the screen is 320x200 and not 320x240 (the top two tiles are missing), this is the first level of Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Created for entertainment purposes only, since there's absolutely no reason to recreate this game in its entirety for the OHRRPGCE.
Oh, it occurs to me that I never fixed the Mario walkabout. That's kind of wonky. Also, if you ever die, the death music will repeat ad nauseum... oh, and, come to think of it, I never made the question blocks work, either. This is really more of a tech demo, so take it as such.
The game is unpassworded (you can edit the level!) but the script file is not included (you can't continue the game).
CTRL and ALT are the B and A buttons, but I don't remember which is which off the top of my head. |
