It's been long since the cultists known as the Necromancers-Dark mages specializing in the undead- have been to rest. Darhell Vladwick, the leader of the Necromancers, and his son, Vian, have been hiding in a recently inhabited Island called Fridia.
Thirteen years later, Darhell leaves the island to settle a disagreement between the citizens of Fridia and those who shelter the light mages. But when his father returns, Vian just may learn more than he bargained for about himself, his mother, and the Necromancers.
